Choose in your own light
A useful shortlist makes a sample comparison easier.
Draft guidance. Confirm the selected products and supplier instructions before ordering.
Give each sample an identity
Keep the supplier, fabric and colour reference with each sample. For a double curtain, distinguish the sheer and blockout fabrics. A familiar colour name alone does not identify the exact fabric you intend to buy.
Compare the setting
Look at the shortlist beside your room’s finishes in different light. Consider texture and how the fabric sits with other materials. Ask for confirmed composition, care and performance information before selecting a final product.
